Bio
Jamey Wolff is a Maryland transplant now based in Western Massachusetts. Before relocating, he played for years in an indie band called The Inflatable Lovers. He is now returning to music with a clearer focus following a years-long struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues. His music lands in the wheelhouse of Indie Alternative Rock and Lo-Fi Ethereal Folk, with a focus on lyricism and an emphasis on melody.
Writing songs since before elementary school, Wolff attributes his creativity to "automatic writing" and deeply resonates with the bygone genre tag "New Sincerity." After all: technicians work with technology, electricians work with electricity, and muse-icians work with the muse.
Inspired especially by musicians who made it to the other side of similar struggles, Wolff hopes to pay it forward and throw his own name into that same hat.
